Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour. Full refund guaranteed. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a 50% fee. No-shows are non-refundable.
Is Chichen Itza safe to visit?+
Absolutely! Chichen Itza is one of the most visited tourist sites in Mexico with excellent infrastructure and security. Our guides are trained in safety protocols and we maintain the highest standards.
What should I bring to Chichen Itza?+
Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen (reef-safe preferred), hat, sunglasses, camera, swimsuit (for cenote tours), light clothing, and cash for souvenirs. We provide water and snacks.
Can I climb the pyramid at Chichen Itza?+
No, climbing El Castillo has been prohibited since 2006 to preserve the structure. However, our Ek Balam combo tour lets you climb a similar Mayan pyramid!
How long is the drive from Cancun?+
Chichen Itza is approximately 200 km (125 miles) from Cancun, about 2.5 hours by road. From Playa del Carmen it's about 2 hours, from Tulum about 2.5 hours, and from Merida about 1.5 hours.
Are tours available in languages other than English and Spanish?+

What happens if it rains on tour day?+
Tours operate rain or shine — Chichen Itza is beautiful in any weather! Brief rain showers are common and usually pass quickly. We provide ponchos if needed. Only severe weather (hurricanes) will cause cancellation with full refund.

Are tours suitable for children?+
Absolutely! Children ages 0-3 are free, and ages 4-12 receive discounted rates. Our guides are experienced with families and adjust the pace and content accordingly. Strollers are not practical at the archaeological site due to uneven terrain.
Do I need to tip the guide?+
Tips are appreciated but never expected. If you enjoyed your experience, a tip of $5-10 USD per person is customary in Mexico. Guides truly appreciate the recognition!
